Zaibis is originally from Miami, Florida. She attended University of Florida (Go Gators!) where she earned a bachelors degree in religion with a minor in Theories and Politics of Sexuality. During her undergraduate degree she had the opportunity to study abroad on the Semester at Sea program exposing her to the world of travel and higher education. She went on to pursue her masters degree at Nova Southeastern University where she earned her degree in College Student Personnel Administration with a concentration in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She had big dreams to live in New York City and she did that after completing her education. She’s spent over a decade working at various colleges focusing on student advocacy and social justice. Zaibis is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership. She spends much of her free time watching her husband’s basketball games or chasing around her son!
